Ever wonder why people are categorized as poor, middle class, rich? What does it take for you to get out of your poor state and upgrade to the next level, or better yet, get richer?

I myself ever wonder, I normally earn more than what other people usually earn, but why can I sometimes not make ends meet and often times resort to loans?

I know that I have the making of an entrepreneur. I have been buying and selling stuffs since I was in Grade II.  Perhaps, there was something wrong in what I have been doing.  Fortunately, I was sent this book from Lifestyle Upgrade entitled “I Wish They Taught Money In High School”.

This is a 2-in-1 Flip Type book.  When I say “flip type”, it meant you actually have to flip the book making it look inverted and start reading from the back to read the other part of this book. The 2 pictures of the book is actually 1 book, captured from the front and back covers.

To tell you honestly, this one is my favorite part of the book.  I am a full time working mom and is currently working as an engineer.  I like doing business and I think I have the capability for it, however, my time at work doesn’t allow me that liberty.  Also, I am in the point that I couldn’t just leave work for the sake of risking a business.  Although soon, I would really love to do that, when my resources become available (manpower, capital and will-power).

This book technically explains how you can still earn extra money aside from your paycheck.  This is actually perfect.  I actually have doubts in investing, but ever since I read this book, I was already convinced and currently working my way in investing some of my meager funds.  Yes, you read it right, “Meager”.  You actually don’t need to have a large amount of money to start investing.  For as low as 5000 pesos, you can already start working your way to it.

Another article in this book is about money myths.  I enjoyed this part.   Some people say credit cards and loans are bad and will just bury you into financial troubles. But if you know how to use it properly, then it may be an advantage on your part.  Wanna know how? You better check out this book then :D
