Home PageREVIEWSKeu Yeoja: Book Review

I got the chance to read and review the book I Wish They Taught Money In High School, a 2-in-1 book about finance/money management. The first book is entitled I Wish They Taught Money In High School So I’m Not Dependent On My Paycheck and the second is I Wish They Taught Money In High School So I Can Start My Own Business Right Away. I was excited to receive my copy… it’s perfect timing because I am in the process of starting my own small business.

The authors are both from well-off families, so you can be assured they really do know how to handle their money or finances. The book is largely based on their personal experiences and some from their friends’ struggles. They also shared some tips and important lessons from other business-minded people like Robert Kiyosaki (author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad) and Warren Buffet (successful American investor).
I did learn some new things and picked up a few tips from the book. I like that the finance terms are defined in a way that a person with no background in finances or money terms will understand. Also, the authors are very encouraging… I can almost imagine some readers shouting “Go Girl!” while reading the book. Haha! The positive tone of the book is very contagious. The words are also comes with illustrations which makes the book a little more interesting to read.

Overall, the book is a nice and an interesting read. You’re sure to learn something new. I do recommend it to those who are just starting to get interested with finance. Also, I think it is a good read for high school and college students for the inspiration.

I Wish They Taught Money In High School is available in most bookstores and you can also buy from the online shop at http://lifestyleupgrade101.com/.
